Environmental experts scheduled to present include Andy Lipkis, the Founder and President of TreePeople; renowned nature photographer Robert Glenn Ketchum; the nation’s leading expert on hiking and trails John McKinney (aka “The Trailmaster”); and actor, environmentalist, author and celebrated “world’s greenest celeb” Ed Begley, Jr. Sustainable design experts include award-winning Eco-Architects Eric Lloyd Wright, Nicolo Bini, Kevin Parkhurst, plus Santa Monica’s highly-acclaimed LEED accredited architect, David Hertz. They will discuss sustainable homes and communities, and then join together for a panel on the future of sustainable living.Eco-Business leaders will include Greenopolis co-founder Anthony Zolezzi; Publisher and founder of Ogden Publications (Mother Earth News, and others) Bryan Welch; Vice President and founding member of Plug in America, Paul Scott; and former Patagonia chief executive and current Pepperdine University sustainable business professor, Michael Crooke, Ph.D.

President and CEO of The Humane Society Wayne Pacelle will be on hand to speak and sign copies of his acclaimed best-selling book The Bond: Our Kinship with Animals. Raw food expert Bryan Au and natural food chef Deborah Madison are scheduled to host cooking demos. Green media personality Tamara Henry and Jennifer Grayson of The Huffington Post will be on hand to present and moderate discussions; and event sponsors including The Sierra Club, Antioch University, and The City of Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability and the Environment will also present on stage.

All presentations will contain opportunities for audience Q and A.
